Brief Overview

Oristus is the official consulting arm of WebWord, one of the oldest and most popular usability blogs on the internet.

John S. Rhodes formed Oristus in 2004 to be the official consulting offshoot of his popular WebWord blog. Since 1998 John and his crackerjack usability team has tirelessly worked to help organizations such as IBM, Cabelas, Women.com, Binghamton University and Universal Instruments. Finally, after spending more than seven years working through WebWord, people can come directly to Oristus for help.

It doesn't really matter where we are located and it doesn't matter where you are located. We'll get the job done. Seriously.

We're located in upstate New York (Binghamton, U.S.A.), providing us easy access to Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. But to be perfectly blunt, our location doesn't really matter that much since we've done work for clients all over the United States. Furthermore, we have strong partnerships with usability specialists from Hong Kong to London to Melbourne. We've been around for a while now, our organization is stable, and our support network is far-reaching. We can handle almost any project. Trust us.
